When recycled paper regains its nobility in Art. After passing through the Beaux-Arts of Bordeaux as a free auditor, I joined a living model workshop, in the same city, and then, a contemporary art workshop still in Gironde. Abstract Art is often misunderstood, it is in this practice that my imaginary shapes have imposed themselves, where I can translate, without knowledge, my deepest emotions. Then my characters, my original shapes came into 3D life to live in their own space, manifesting their freedom to exist.

I have a real bond with newspaper. Indeed, I like this recycled paper commonly called “papier mâché”. A kind of modeling clay I like to play with, a dialogue ensues in the softness of the human body curves. My singular sculptures are postures that I express through deformation by going beyond reality, things; the people, the speech. I try to represent the body's message which does not lie. These characters express themselves in a movement beyond appearances.

Another vision of the human body: The 2023 Harvest in Pays des Côtes de Blaye inspired me: It's the living model watercolored with this magnificent beverage from our region: wine. Using sketches made in the workshop, I paint models on 300g watercolor paper, in different postures, to enhance the wine in an other way than by tasting it. These watercolors are called "Vinarelles".
